Dinosaur or Bird

The cassowary is a large flightless bird with knife-like claws. These claws can grow about 4 inches long and are razor sharp. They are particularly dangerous when they are protecting their eggs or in the breeding season. Cassowaries are descendants of the Velociraptors, a fierce dinosaur breed you might have encountered in Jurassic Park.

Cassowaries are known as the world’s most dangerous bird. They hold this title even though they do not bite. Instead, they are large birds that can stand as tall as 6 feet, weigh up to 100 pounds, with deadly claws that they use to attack.

When Birds Attack

In Marvin Hajos’s case, the cassowary took advantage of his situation when he tripped and fell in its vicinity. The big bird pounced on him and attacked him viciously. The most dangerous bird attacks by running against you, jumping at you and kicking you with its huge feet! It does all of these in a wild and frenzied state. So when Hajos fell, his cassowary saw an opportunity to attack. The result was a bleeding Hajos, who would later lose his life from the injuries sustained in the attack from his pet bird.

“THE CASSOWARY CAN SLICE OPEN ANY PREDATOR OR POTENTIAL THREAT WITH SINGLE SWIFT KICK. POWERFUL LEGS HELP THE CASSOWARY RUN UP TO 31 MILES PER HOUR THROUGH THE DENSE FOREST UNDERBRUSH.
